Metabolism, do you know what it means?….
It’s the process of converting food to energy , so if you have a slow metabolism rate you are not converting food to energy quickly enough to lose weight efficiently.
The better that your metabolism rate is, the easier you will find it to actually lose weight,
the fact is that most people who want to lose weight just think that going on a diet will actually be the best starting point, WRONG…the BEST starting point for losing weight quickly is to increase your metabolic rate first, that way you will be burning the calories, fat much quicker.
Here I am going to show you a few ways that you can increase your metabolism without to much effort, and then and ONLY THEN once you have increased your rate should you move on to a diet, one of the best, if not THE best diet I have come across is simply called Strip That Fat and thats exactly what it does. Once you get your metabolism correct, you will find that you are burning calories 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
NEVER EVER skip breakfast when you are trying to increase your metabolism. Carbohydrates FUEL your metabolism, so if you skip breakfast your metabolism is going to SLOW DOWN because your body has not had fuel (food) for probably 12/14 hours which will slow your rate down and have an adverse effect on what you are trying to achieve, so HAVE that breakfast at all cost’s.
It has been common knowledge now for many years, that our eating habits have changed considerably from what our forefathers used to eat,and when they used to eat.
It is far better for your metabolism for you to have a good sized breakfast and lunch and a much smaller evening meal, as your bodies metabolism is working throughout the day and does not have as much to do through the night, so again you burn more calories.
Also if your peckish SNACK regularly, dont worry, you need to, but only with foods such as fruit & vegetables grains,all carbohydrates. Which again FUEL your metabolism.
Having regular snacks stops you from becoming to hungry, which gives you far more control over what you eat at main meal times.
You MUST eat more carbohydrates than you eat fat, so eat more vegetables than you do meat or dairy products, carbohydrates help BOOST your metabolism and have far less calories than fat, dont forget, we are NOT on a diet yet! This is going to get you on the start of PERMANENT weight loss.
Tone yourself up for just 3 nights a week for 20 mins at a time, if you are heavily overweight, take it easy, just lifting a couple of cans of baked beans from your waste to above your head a few times will help improve your metabolism, if your fitter then use something heavier, you dont need to go to the gym (unless you want to).
Have a MINIMUM of 1200 calories a day, any less than this will again SLOW your metabolism down.
Do some aerobic excersises 3 times a week, swimming,walking,riding etc,
you will be surprised at how a 20 minute walk 3 times a week will improve your metabolism.
When you go shopping, just park your car a bit further than you normally would from the store or supermarket, just little life changing things like this really do work, take the stairs instead of the lift, run up and down the stairs at home (unless you live in a bungalow)
you get what I mean.
Drink a minimum of six glasses of water a day, preferably eight glasses.
SO keep YOUR metabolism happy and you will find losing weight is much easier than you thought. And if you are looking for a diet when your metabolism is running at top speed, then I would recommend strip that fat.
